Our buyer commitment
We guarantee that the pups will be mentally and physically able to do the tasks for which they were purchased. This includes congenital or any genetic disease that crops up. We will replace the dog or return your money. In most cases, you’ll be able to determine what happens with your current dog. We like to determine what upcoming owners have in mind for the ‘work’ of the new puppy so that we can do a good job of placing the right pup with the right owners. Shipping dogs will be at your cost.

About our breeding program
For 45 years, we have carefully bred CKC registered German Shepherd dogs, selecting for temperament, intelligence, loyalty, confidence, and a desire to please their owners. They are natural guarders, but only when suspicious behaviour and threats are offered by animals or people.
All of our breeding dogs are x-rayed at one year for a preliminary look at hips and elbows. If they look good we continue their training to ensure great temperament and at two years they’re re-done and sent to the OFA for an official rating. Only then may a dog be used in our breeding program.
The puppies take 9 weeks to develop to birth and they need to stay with their mother for another 7 weeks. This timing is based on extensive studies with German Shepherd puppies and older dogs done by the Monks of New Skete. They have published their findings in ‘The Art of Raising a Puppy’ and other books.
